[Nordskogen] Rapier Tournament at June Fookmoot

Greetings Nordskogen, and especially the rapier combatants!

Beginning at the June folkmoot, I will be sponsoring a quarterly tournament
open to ALL rapier fighters - come out and play!  I want these to be fun
chances to learn about a tourney format you may not have seen, as well as an
opportunity for everyone to practice moving out of practice mode and into a
more competitive mindset. The format and scenarios will vary each time,
which I will try to announce in advance. The June tournament will be a
single-elimination retained-wounds tournament. If you are interested in
learning the list-table side of tournaments, there will certainly be chances
for that as well (contact me if you're interested). The next two tournaments
are planned for the September 2008 and January 2009 folkmoots, with the
baronial championship tentatively set for March 2009.

Non-fighters are especially encouraged to stop by and provide an audience
while we entertain you!
