[Nordskogen] Ivetta's Brewing Challenge II

Greetings to the Hall,

I have been urged to send a reminder out to everyone about my Challenge for
2008. I am sponsoring another Brewing/Vinting/Cordialmaking Challenge. Plans
are to hold the judging at WW again at a time to be announced closer to that
date. It has been suggested that the ingredient list need not be a secret to
the populace as it was last year. The ingredient list for 2008 is noted
below.

This was quite fun last year and I encourage anyone with any interest in the
alcoholic arts to try your hand at something new or different.

If you are interested in entering a beverage, please send me an email with
your name, modern name, home group and type of beverage that you will be
working on making (ale, cordial, wine, etc).

*The Rules*



1)       You must use at least 2 of the ingredients from the ingredient list
provided.

2)       You can use additional ingredients as necessary.

3)       You need not make a 'period' beverage.

4)       You must provide a listing of ingredients used. A complete recipe
is not necessary.

5)       You must make enough of the beverage for 5 judges to taste.



*Judging Criteria*



1)                   Taste.

2)                   Use of the provided ingredients.

3)                   Pizzazz or Wow factor.
