Just two cents from a third party from Tor Aerie.

I have had more than enough notice to be able to not only know this was
going on but also find a very generous ride to the proccedings. I don't
believe the time frame was unreasonable or inconvenient.

Also I firmly believe that someone would have to be very much out of touch
with the Barony to have missed this being discussed. This isn't exactly a
surprise. Months have been spent in planning and gathering opinions. If you
haven't spoken up and given your opinions and suggestions by now, I really
wonder why not.

There are many types of publications-paper is only one of them. Personally
I do not make the time to read paper publications much other than to simply
appreciate any shiny thing I may find. I work by word of mouth and online
forums for most of my information. I have heard about this from going to a
few Barony meetings. I have heard through fighter practice and armoring. I
have heard it discussed at foreign campains. I have heard it discussed at
Tor Aerie meetings, Kingdom events, and on online lists.

Perhaps it is only because in crowds I listen more than I speak, or because
I know a few of the people involved in attempting to create a hub of fun
closer to home, but I think and hope that we have had more than enough time
to deliberate and understand the situation.

As to this specific meeting for the actual vote-I believe that enough
notice for a busy college student is likely at least decent notice for an
average person.

I am fairly sure that those who care about this issue will make the
sacrifices to be able to make it there and vote,
