[Nordskogen] Server Status

Rocky.itasca.net, which hosted the mailing lists for northshield.org,
nordskogen.northshield.org, minstrel.com, and others, had a
catastrophic hard drive failure Sunday morning, while I was in
Chicago. By catastrophic, I mean that when I finally made it into the
machine room at Cornernet, I could actually hear the bad hard driving
going 'ticka ticka ticka' over the sounds of the rest of the room's
whirring fans and disks.

Our regular backup enabled us to restore most of the system to another
machine fairly quickly. However, an ugly bit of deep wizardry meant
that the configuration files for these mailing lists had gotten
scrambled on the backups.

This evening, I finally got to the machine room, and was able to
perform a bit of necromancy to revive Rocky enough to pry the data off
its surviving disk and migrate it to the new system.

The mailing lists now SHOULD be functional again. Some archival
material was probably lost, however.
