Yes, the Nordskogen connection is actually a pre-Nordskogen connection: she was Baroness of the Barony of the Great Bear, the local SCA branch before the Shire of Nordskogen started up (a couple of years after Great Bear folded).
She is a lovely person, and this is very sad.Caradoc
