[Nordskogen] a brief hello

Welcome, Betsy!

Yes, the SCA does have a thrown weapons community where they throw axes,
knives, and even spears.  If you like throwing the real things, we use
wooden targets.  If you want to throw them at people to "kill" them, there
is that option, as well, but then they are specially made and we'll need to
get you in armor and train you on the battlefield to play with the Arts
Martial first.

At any rate, welcome welcome to our community. I hope we have a chance to
meet in person and enjoy each others' company.
