Just picture it -- the field of battle at a major war. Pennons are snapping
in the breeze, the armies are massing - tightening armor straps and putting
on helms. And suddenly you catch sight of a noble figure -- a proud warrior
at the forefront of the army, giving words of encouragement and strategy. A
laurel wreath and compass star gleams on his chest, and griffons swirl at
his sides. It's the King of Northshield, striding forth to lead us into
glory on the melee field, making us all proud.

Imagine the satisfaction of knowing that you helped create that picture, by
helping to create the very surcote that marks him on the battlefield as our
King!

Please come on out tomorrow evening to assist with sewing the kingdom
surcotes - we've made a ton of progress to date, but at this point we'd like
to get as many folks as possible helping attach appliques to the surcotes.

*****************************
*Please bring a regular sewing machine with white or yellow thread. Sewing
machines, and people to run them, are our biggest constraint.*

We'll be starting at 6:30pm, wrapping up around 9pm.

Please contact me if you have any question!

In service,

Marwen
