[Nordskogen] Chance to learn / practice applique skills - this Wednesday evening

Greetings, Nordskogen --

As you may have gathered, there's a fun baronial project going on right
now -- we're making new fighting surcotes for our Northshield Royal Men. 
To accomplish this, we need *your* help!

This week, it's time for Applique Madness -- we've got a lot of kingdom
heraldry to put on these things!  If you've never done applique, no
problem -- we'll teach you how.  This is a great technique for making
sturdy heraldic items.  If you already know how to applique, please come
on over - we need your help.

We'll be taking over the second classroom for sewing and fun at Wednesday
Night Meeting this week from 6:30 - 9:00 pm, with a short break for
monthly business meeting for those that are interested.

Stuff to bring (if you can)
Conventional Sewing Machine(s)
White thread if you've got it
Spare needles (standard point, size 11 works best)
Smile
Scissors
Thread Ripper
Applique Scissors (good sharp scissors wtih a very fine point that can cut
little details in fabric)
Bad Joke -- tell us something punny
Tape Measure
