[Nordskogen] OT: Legal help?

Hi all,
Does anyone know a lawyer in Pittsburgh?  :(
My parents just moved to PA from Minnesota, and the
house they bought needed a lot of work that they
didn't know about. They hired a contractor who
subsequently did a really shoddy job, only finished
one of over a dozen points on their -written- contract
and is now suing THEM for $8000 each for:
- My mom calling him a schmuck (which she didn't)
- My dad trying to back out of a "varball" contract
(actual spelling in court document)
The contractor also left them a belligerent and
anti-Semetic voicemail ("You Jews think you can walk
all over us"), as well as saying similar things to
their faces. He also warned them that he's lived there
his whole life, and "knows the magistrate" or
something.

My parents (and I) don't know anything about this
magistrate court thing, and the lawyers they've spoken
to basically said not to worry about it...? And that
it wouldn't be worth it for the lawyers to go to court
with them? They are really upset and I haven't been
able to find anything to help them so far. Can anyone
help??
