[Nordskogen] Nordskogen Archery Moot and Baronial Picnic - Sunday April 27th Starting at noon.

The snow is melting and the birds are chirping so spring is on its way, and with that we will be having a moot to mark the return of archery practices to the outdoor range in Bloomington.

What: Archery Moot and Picnic to select the new Baronial Archery Champion
When:  Sunday April 27th Starting at Noon (a little earlier then normal practice time)
Where: Marsh lake archery range in Bloomington.  Take 494 to France Ave and go south to approximately 94th.  Range is on the east side of the road (Left), across the road from the activity fields.
Site Fee:  What site fee, we don't have a site fee.  This is a free archery range so there is no cost to attend.

A Picnic you say:  we will be providing grills for you to use, bring your own meat and any item you may wish to share.
Facilities:  There is no shade or running water on site, we will bring some shade and the water, but feel free to bring your own as well.
I don't have the gear to participate:  Never fear, the barony has a good supply of loaner equipment and anyone can stop on by to cheer on those competing for the title and to enjoy the picnic.  Plus, this is a great opportunity to come out and see the different types of equipment that people use and to try it out before you ever have to buy any gear.  And as an added bonus, I'll have the basic repair kit on hand and can help you get any existing equipment fixed up if necessary.
I don't want to compete for the championships, can i still shoot?:  Absolutely, the champion will be determined from the highest score of those declaring that they want to be considered for the championship, anyone else can participate and shoot at the same targets.  this means that if you know of anyone from outside the barony that also wants to come and play, feel free to send this info along to them (Rockhaven, Silfren Mere, Rivenwood Tower, etc...) 
Is there anything i can do to help:  Certainly, right now we are looking for some supplies for making novelty targets.  if you have any containers (milk cartons/jugs, 2 liter bottles, etc...) newspapers or large pieces of cardboard, we will gladly find a way to get them from you in advance of the shoot to make them into targets.  on the day of the moot, bring any chairs, shade, food or beverage that you like.
