Again, I apologize for the massive amounts of crossposting! 'Tis a
neccessary evil...and that said,
 
Kairete to the various lists and most noble lords and ladies of
Northshield and visiting kingdoms!
 
Just a reminder that the last major regional practice of the outdoor
fighting season fast approaches. 
So, sharpen your swords, whet your axes, hone your halberds, polish your
polearms and let's get ready to rumble!

Remember, our property is the southwest corner of the road. Drive in,
drop off your gear, drive out and around the cul-de-sac and park on our
side of the road, as a courtesy to our neighbors. We need to leave room
for them to get to their homes. :-) 
 
Directions: 
 
>From the North: Take your best way to Interstate 35, south of the Twin
Cities, and go south, past Burnsville, to the 3rd Lakeville exit, I
believe it's exit 81, which is County Road 70. At the stop sign, turn
left and cross the bridge.Turn right at the next 4-way stop, which is
the frontage road aka Kenrick, or Pillsbury Ave. There is a large
McDonalds and truck stop on the corner. Go south on Pillsbury about 4
miles or so, and turn right onto County Road 62, aka 245th Street. Cross
over the freeway again and go about a mile and turn left, the only
direction you can, on Xerxes Ave. It's a gravel road. Go up to the top
of the little hill, about half a block, and turn right, again the only
way you can, onto 247th Street East. 
We are the Last House on the Left (Ok, who remembers that old movie?:-))
in the woods, before the road turns south and goes up to the cul-de-sac.
There will be signs posted for the SCA.
 
>From the South: Take your best way to Interstate 35 and go north and get
off on exit 76, which is the Elko/New Market exit. At the top of the
ramp, turn left and go west on Highway 2, staying in the right lane,
about a mile or so. Look for a right-hand turn lane and turn right on
Xerxes Ave, a gravel road. Go about a mile and take the first left that
you can onto 247th Street East. We're the last house on the left before
the road curves. We're also the one with all the trees on that side. 
 
>From  the Rochester area: Take Highway 52 north. Just past Cannon Falls,
look for a left turn lane for County Road 86, and turn left there. You
will stay on this going west for about 17 miles. After you go through
the tiny hamlet of Castle Rock,  you will pass the next and last major
crossroad, which is County Road 23, and then look for the next stop sign
which should be County road 46, or Pillsbury Ave. Take a right on 46 and
go approximately 3 and a half miles to County Road 62, aka 245th Street.
Take a left, go across the freeway and about a mile west until Xerxes
Ave. Go left on Xerxes, up the hill, and right on 247th St. E. We're the
3rd house on the left, in the woods. You'll see the signs. 
 
Whew! That's a lotta directions, but it's easier to get here than it is
to tell you how. :-)
