Greetings again, good Nobles of Northshield and honored guests from
other lands!
 
This is simply a reminder that  KFC is only 3 short weeks away, so mark
it upon your calendars and plan to come!
KFC ?, you ask? What nonsense speaks this silly woman? I can go to any
chicken eatery, I don't have to wait 3 weeks!
 
Ah, but this is Killin', Fillin' (the belly!), and Chillin'!  And you
will definitely want to come, for at least 3 reasons:
 
First, Killin' : There will be honored opponents here which you may
never have crossed swords with, and the season for 
outdoor fighting draws to a close. Not to mention woods battles, an open
glade, a lovely firepit for a lovely autumnal fire, etc. And we have an
MIC for the day.
 
Second, Fillin' - Bring meat or what you'd  like to grill and one dish
to share. I will be providing some other dishes, and don't forget, there
WILL BE BROWNIES!  MMMMM, BRowwwnnnNNNNIES!!!  (And yes, we've got milk
for Frederick.:-))We will also have water, gatorade, fighting snacks,
and apple cider. Tables will be set up in the garage, and you need not
bring plates, cups or implements as these will be provided as well.
 
Third, Chillin' - Bring your chairs and just hang out. There's plenty o'
room for non-combatants to just work on projects and visit. Or you can
sit on the swings and look at the pretty leaves and listen to the
screams of the dying ;-). What could be 
better on a crisp fall day?
 
A Note About Parking: Please drive in, drop your gear off, and park
along the road. We live on a dead-end street, so make sure you leave
room for the neighbors to pass. You may want to drive to the cul de sac,
turn around and park on our side of the street.
Normally, I've no problem with cars gracing our front yard, but we do
want to leave room for the list fields.

                            Our property is on the southwest corner of
the street, right where the street bends.
 
And the time : 10 am to  oh dark whenever we quit, and we do have a
streetlight near the driveway so fighting can 
                       continue (at least in the front yard) after dark.
 
And the date : Saturday, October 6, and there is space for camping on
Friday night if anyone wishes to do so.
 
 Good gentles, if you know for sure you are coming, please email or call
me as soon as possible, so I can
plan ahead for food and drink.
