[Nordskogen] Policies and Caponi

  As I mentioned in my latest letter in the Quill, it is time again for the annual review of the Nordskogen policies, which will take place at the June 20 business meeting.  There was a glitch and the text of the policies did not get printed, but you can find them at http://www.nordskogen.northshield.org/policies.html . Please send any proposed changes to me at ladyellenthewise at yahoo.com by the May business meeting.
   
  Also, this coming Wednesday we will be having a mini meeting to discuss the possibility of doing a demo at Caponi Art Park separately from their annual Shakespeare festival, which we were unable to coordinate with due to scheduling conflicts.  Mistress Giovanna has spoken with them and come up with an alternate date of Saturday, September 29th.
   
  Problems with this date: 
  1) there is a Gopher home game at the Dome
  2) it is the final weekend of the Ren. Fest
  3) it is opposite Windhaven's 30th Anniversary
   
  Benefits for this date:
  1) It does not conflict with any local events or events run by the Barony
  2) It is unlikely that it will be 100+ degrees that weekend
  3) Without the Shakespeare players we can be free to organize our demo as we would like
   
  I think this is a great idea and I'll be interested to hear your thoughts.  We'll have the initial discussion this Wed 5/9, and then vote at the business meeting on 5/16.
