[Nordskogen] Deadline for Quill Submissions is Saturday

Reminder: The deadline for submissions to the July issue of _The Crystal Quill_ is NOON on this Saturday, June 23. But, seeing as that’s Schutzenfest, I can give you until noon on Sunday...
   
  As of right now, I have two excellent articles. Let’s get some officer letters and additional articles!
   
  What is the theme for July? “The peasants are revolting!”
   
  Tell us what it was like to be lower-class in your persona’s society, or even just what the social classes were in your society. And if there were ever any uprisings of the lower classes, be sure to mention them -- the juicier, the better!
   
  This is another great opportunity to go out, do a little research, and add some depth to your persona. Or just go learn something new, persona-related or not. Of course, if you already have information on this topic at hand, then what are you waiting for? Send it to me!
   
  What I'm looking for:
   
  - articles
  - suggested resources for further reading (Internet or hardcopy)
  - artwork! (sketches and cartoons are great)
  - announcements (birthdays, anniversaries, archaeology finds, 
    "classifieds," you name it)
   
  Please read the SUBMISSION GUIDELINES found on the _Crystal Quill_ page of the Nordskogen Web site, www.nordskogen.northshield.org/quill.html. THESE ARE IMPORTANT!
          
  Also consider starting an article now one on of the other upcoming themes:
   
  - Aug 07 -- performing arts (what did your persona’s culture indulge in for entertainment by performers? Would you have listened to musicians or singers, or gone to a play? What kind of entertainment was popular? What was disapproved of or outright illegal? And so on...)
   
  - Sep 07 -- to be determined by the new Chronicler...
