Hosted by Tor Aerieans, but certainly not just for Tor Aerie. Everyone is
welcome. If you would like better directions please feel free to e-mail me
off the list.

As a form of apparently very late introductions:

Hello. My name is Elizabeth Upon (AKA Beth, AKA Murasaki). You might have
seen me running around at WW. I am the new girl Yettie. ^_^

I am a Theatrical Costuming major at the U of M and a
Stitcher/Firsthand/Designer/Draper/Seamstress by trade. I have been sewing
for 7 years, and 3 years profesisonally. I have been taught flat
patterning, draping, and milinary among other things. If you would like
help with a project, I would be very happy to help, but please bring an
image of what you want it to look like or similar to so I can figure it
out.

I have been playing with Tor Aerie since Dude Where's My Arm and
fighting since just a little after Thanksgiving if I recall correctly. I am
also Autocrat for the upcomming Japaese Themed Tor Aerie event on October
20th. (Can't avoid the blatant plug.) I did a very small class at 12th
night as a quick overview of historical Japanese clothing by era, and would
be happy to dig out the posters from the basement if anyone is interested.
You might have seen me at Pennsic (not likely as I mostly kept to the
Merchant tent), 12th Night (red, black, and gold jaquard loom velvet
Elizabethan with farthingale and flat cap), Gulf Wars (Hanging out with the
Sot Camp ^_^ and Chechegan(sp?)), Border Skirmish (Just authorized), or WW,
but almost never at Barony Meetings.

Hope that helps,
Beth
