[Nordskogen] Tell me about 12th Night!

Lady Julia, I'm afraid all I can offer is a couple of random bits...

1) You regret missing the Bard of Nordskogen competition. There were
an amazing array of entries: from early period works to English
Renaissance; poetry, spoken pieces, vocal music, and some
instrumentals, some veteran performers and some who'd never performed
before. It was hard to hear some of them in the main hall, but the
alternative would hve been to hide the competition away in some other,
smaller place.

2) The raffle was terrific. There was lots of good stuff, and a
surprizingly lively amount of ticket sales.  And I got a bread-maker;
whoo-hoo!

3) You can pass along my compliments to whomever made the garlic
mushrooms. They were a little highlight of my event.

4) Genevieve, Nuala, and Samia were a terrific autocrat team.
Whenever there was a need for someone to make an executive decision or
take care of a problem, one of them was easy to find, attentive, and
quick with a helpful answer or solution. An enormous amount of the
"atmosphere" at an event comes from the tone the event stewards set,
and this event benefitted enormously from their friendly, can-do
attitudes.
