[Nordskogen] Greetings from An Tir!

Greetings unto Their Excellencies Baron Rodrigo and Baroness Khadijah, and unto the Populace of Nordskogen!

I hope this missive finds all with good health and spirits!  Please allow me to introduce myself.  Within the Society, I am known as Kate the Candlemaker, merchant of "pretty smellies" (aka candles) and current resident of the Kingdom of An Tir.

Life being such as it is, it is possible that my Lord and Husband's employment may change over the next 4-5 months and we may find ourselves relocating to your Lands.  To that end, I wished to say hello and perchance make some new friends before the move would take place (if it does).

My Lord and I have been married these past 12 years, and have two daughters (ages 9 and 5).  He does not play as I do, but my daughters enjoy the SCA as well.  My oldest is interested in archery, and all things fiber.  She is currently working on a shawl for her very first A&S competition at the end of January.

As I said, I am primarily a merchant.  I also participate in A&S competitions and have some absolutely wonderful information on the Waxchandler's Guild in London if anyone would like to peruse!

We will be starting to look at jobs in the area by the end of February.  Some friends of ours local to us now are moving to Mound in the summer, which is why we are looking at the area.  My husband currently works in aerospace, but is open to new jobs that don't come with bosses that pigeonhole him (long story).

Enough of my early morning babbling (tis 5:30 am here).  I look forward to hearing from new friends!
