[Nordskogen] Looking for wrestling/gym mats for event

Greetings unto the Populace of Nordskogen,

In almost exactly one month's time, the Barony will be hosting
"Combat.Period.", an A&S Historical Combat event (Nov. 11). As the
class cooridnator, I can say with certainty that there will be a
number of excellent instructors at the event, covering a wide variety
of combat styles and time periods. It is shaping up to be an excellent
event!

Which, ironically, has created a bit of a problem....

We have several classes on period unarmed combat techniques, which is
good; but we find that we are coming up short on proper floor mats to
allow people to work the techniques, which is not so good. (The
barony's "mats" are too thin to safely allow for the techniques people
will be trying.) Hence this call to the populace:

If you know anyone who has access to folding gymnastic/wrestling mats
in the Twin Cities or beyond that would be willing to loan them to the
barony for a day, please let me know. If anyone has contacts in the
martial arts, gymnastics, wrestling communities, or at an athletic
department/rec center, please see if they would be willing to help us
out. Given enough warning, I can likely arrange for pick up and return
of the mats to make things easier.
