[Nordskogen] Bid for new thrones

Good Gentles,

There is a new project under way in the Barony of
Nordskogen to replace the current Baronial thrones in
use by TE's of Nordskogen.  Their current traveling
seats are beautiful, but can become uncomfotable when
sitting in them for long periods of time.  Their years
of use have also begun to show and TE's feel it is
time to invest in a sturdier set.  To this end I am
coordinating this project by collecting bids from
artisans who are interested in creating new thrones
for Nordskogen.  
 
When submitting a bid for consideration it should
contain the following:
Your name (modern and SCA)
Your contact information (address, phone, e-mail)
Your design (description, materials, joinery, finish,
sketches)
Estimated cost
If this is a group project or not (optional)
 
TE's have requested that certain things be considered
when submitting designs:
1) Ease of transport.  The thrones will be transported
in a variety of vehicles and should be built in such a
way that they can be easily accomidated in the trunk
or back seat of a sedan.
2) Comfort.  These thrones should provide back support
to the occupants.
3) Good construction techniques (we want these to last
for a while)
4) Ease of set-up/take down.  
5) Aesthetics, i.e. good use of the Baronial Heraldry.
 
Once a design/bid is chosen TE's will present the
design to the populace of the Barony at a standard
business meeting.
