I'd like to add a note to Giovanna's: If you wish to camp (and we'd love to have you -- it's fun!) and have a modern tent, be aware that you'll need to dismantle your tent during the demo and put it away. This was the general rule two years ago, and the reasons were thus:
1. The Caponi folks don't want visitors getting the idea that they can camp there.
2. It's a Middle Ages demo. Modern tents tend to detract from to the atmosphere.
If the policy / rationale has changed in the last two years, then I welcome Christian's corrections and comments on the matter. In the meantime, I didn't want anyone to be unpleasantly surprised the day of the demo. :o)
Oh, and when Giovanna says no running water, note that that means no potable water on site. You'll need to bring your own.

Just to reiterate Christian's announcement at the business meeting last night: participants in the demo are allowed to camp at the Caponi Art Park starting Friday night (7/28) and going all the way to Sunday (7/30).
Just a reminder there is no running water (no showers) and the toilet facilities are a port o john. Please plan accordingly.
A couple of us are heading out Friday after work on the 28th and will be camping through Sunday (unless plans change) so please come and join us. Fingers crossed that the weather will be less hot this year.
