[Nordskogen] A Call for Help

Hey Nordskogen parents

It seems like there is a need to get a more solid network of parents so
we can advertise and organize things like where we have boffer, what
children's activities are being offered at what event and to coordinate
Kingdom-wide youth projects (I am a big believer that commitment to an
organization is developed based on what you do for the organization, not
what the organization does for you). 

 

There is not a good way to contact all parents in the Kingdom and youth
activities are such a niche area that most events can only afford to
list "youth activities" with no reference as to type, target ages, etc.

If we have a forum, we can provide better guidance. 

 

To this end we are trying to get the youth mailing list up and running
for  for coordination purposes. 

1.    If you are interested in finding out more about what youth
activities are offered or in getting your voice heard on what should be
offered. 

2.    If you are a youth minister or a youth marshal or if you want to
be.

3.    If you are a parent and want to know where the "good stuff" is. 

Please get on the youth list. You can get on in digest and ignore the
stuff you don't like. It will be monitored and we will ensure that there
are a solid list of questions and information coming through on easy
cheap activities, Kingdom-wide projects and when and where boffer
practices are offered throughout the Kingdom. 

 

If you know parents who are not on this list, please forward this info
to them.
