[Nordskogen] Demo discussion

Good morning,

I've been keeping silent on this thread.  But a line has
been crossed, and I can’t be silent any longer.

Mistress Giovanna gave some sound advice on how people can
better the appearance of their garb and their encampments. 
That's it.  This is what we are all supposed to be doing. 
Learning and sharing our knowledge.

The implications of “nastiness” and the veiled threats that have
followed are uncalled for.  I am disappointed that what could
have been a productive discussion has turned into personal
attacks.  I want to see that stop right now.

This can be a valuable discussion, and at some point we should
talk about what we want our demos to be and not to be.  But for
now I think everyone needs to take a breath and step back for a
moment, and remember the other things that the SCA is supposed
to stand for:  courtesy, honor, chivalry and civility - things
that have been lacking in this discussion.
