Yes, there is a BIG difference between OFFERING to help people become "more
period" than imposing YOUR views of what YOU think being peiod entails.
I'm not advocating going around with a pink flaminco, I'm saying that in
truth, how many mundane people off the street are even going to KNOW the
difference between linen and cotton?
I can hear it now "I'm going to write to Martha staright away, those
imposters were wearing cotton, HOW gauche". Or "I feel SO cheated that I
didn't get to see real linen". Pulease...
If people WANT to participate, as Martha would say "It's a good thing". My
opinion is that it should be ENCOURAGED.
As far a intentions go, they pave to way, it is said.....is it really a
place you want to go to?
