Mr. Lords,

Your suggestion about composing a message directed towards the members is
probably best. If you wouldn't mind forwarding the following on, we'd
appreciate it. Thanks again for your help.

SCA Members,

My name is Jesse Gangl, and our small production company, Arcus Productions,
is staging up for a short medieval period piece that will be filming towards
the end of July and early August in Hugo, MN. We are looking for around 20
male extras for group and battle scenes as well as some female extras for a
large group scene (specifically a funeral). We are prepared to provide
costuming, but I'm certain you all have a wealth of period costuming and
props, and if you are interested in or willing to use some of your own
resources, we're certainly flexible. Because of the rather uniform sizes of
our costumes, we're looking primarily for men ages 20-50 of average build
and height and preferably with period facial hair. The same holds for the
female extras, minus the facial hair of course. The roles that need to be
filled are late 11th century Saxon commoners since the film revolves around
the events of the 1075 Revolt of the Earls in England. We are intending to
shoot the entire film (which will end up being 5-10 minutes, depending on
editing) the weekends of July 29-30 (which I know is a busy one for your
group) and August 5-6, with the possibility of some pick-up shots the
weekend after that. If you are able and interested, please email me with
the subject line "SCA," and know that you need not be present for every day
of filming. Thanks for you time, and we hope to hear from many of you.
