Greetings Northshield!

As Warriors and Warlords draws near, I ask you one more time to peruse
the online volunteer signups (http://www.warriorsandwarlords.org/volunteer.html)
and spend some time helping WW continue to be one of Northshield's premier events.
As of right now there are many slots open for most areas.

Like to watch fighting? Sign up to waterbear and become a fighter's
best friend, if only for a few minutes. If the weather this year is
anything like last year's, you could save someone a trip to the
hospital by simply providing a cool drink of water.

Are you the welcoming type? By volunteering at the Gate, yours will be
the first face gentles see as they arrive on site. The overnight hours
are a particularly special time to welcome weary travelers, as the
lights of the Gate shine as a beacon to bring our people home for the
weekend.

Prefer to walk around while helping out? Security is a great excuse to
wander the site and socialize just a bit while helping to keep WW safe
for all.

Like to clean? We have opportunities for you! The clean up crew can
always use an extra pair or ten of hands. All can help lighten the
cleanup crew's burden by leaving your camp site as clean or cleaner
than you found it, and picking up any refuse you see around site.

Do you enjoy helping others? At info point you can ease others'
burdens by providing information. And it's a shady place to spend a
few hours.

I haven't listed all the opportunities here, as my missive would
become unwieldy. Many aspects of WW are too large to describe in a
single letter, and volunteering fits right in.

To those who have already signed up to help, you have our thanks. If
you need to wait until the event to commit to help, signups will be
available at the event at Info Point.

We wish you safe travels and look forward to seeing you next week!
