[Nordskogen] Armored Combat at Nordskogen 12th Night

 My apologies to the folks who will get this on multiple lists...
   
  In keeping with the Shakesperean Theme of Nordskogen's 12th Night, the following armored combat activities are planned:
   
  1) The Montague vs Capulet Round Robin Melees
       Tybalt
  "What, drawn, and talk of peace! I hate the word, 
  As I hate hell and all Montagues, and thee: 
  Have at thee, coward!"
  Enter several of both houses, who join the fray.
  Act I, i, 66-68
   
  Combatants: Teams of 4-6 armored combatants
  Weapon forms: Single sword, single sword w/dagger (12" or under), or single sword w/buckler (12" diameter or under)
  Special rules: Part of the team starts on the list, the remainder enter at intervals
  Victory conditions: Defeat the other team prior the the arrival of citizens and peace-officers (i.e. time limit)
   
   
  2) The Ides of March Survival Challenge
       Caesar
  "What say'st thou to me now? speak once again."
       Soothsayer
  "Beware the ides of March."
  Act I, ii, 17-18
  Combatants: One combatant as Caeser, assembled groups of 4-6 combatants as conspirators
  Weapon forms: Caeser- a scepter (mace), conspirators-daggers 
  Special rules: None
  Victory conditions: Caeser must exit the Senate-house alive
   
   
  3) The Plains of Phillipi/Battle of Actium Fast Forward Melee (if time available)
       Octavius
  "Come, come, the cause: if arguing makes us sweat,
  The proof of it will turn to redder drops.
  Look;
  I draw a sword against conspirators;
  When think you that the swrod goes up again?
  Never, till Caeser's three and thirty wounds
  Be avenged, or till another Caeser
  Have added slaughter to the sword of traitors"
  Act V, i, 48-55
  
  Combatants: Conspirator groups (survivors only) from the Ides of March Survival Challenge
  Weapons forms: Any, weapons must be under 5' long
  Special rules: None
  Victory conditions: Eliminate all opposing conspirator groups
   
   
  Authorizations: For any looking to authorize, you must contact me prior to Jan 10th to schedule an authorization. Due to ceiling clearance issues, authorizations will be limited to weapons under 5' in length.
   
  Inspections/List Table sign up: Due to a limited window for armored activities, if you wish to participate, you will need to be inspected and signed in at the list table BY 1:00pm.
