Ladies and Gentlemen (and others),

Once again I announce this!

First, before I go further, you should read this even if you aren't a
resident of Nordskogen if you are the slightest bit "bardically"
inclined.

Every year, the Baron and Baroness of Nordskogen choose their Bardic
champion at an event in the winter. It is usually a competition held at
Twelfth Night. This year, once again, the competition will be held at
Twelfth night. The winner of the competition will be chosen by the Baron
and Baroness of Nordskogen, as well as me.

BUT! We know there are bardically inclined people out there who AREN'T
part of Nordskogen, or who want to participate but not compete. Knowing
this, we're making this an open game! ANYONE CAN PLAY! If you want to
participate, but not compete, you can!

The rules:

At a time to be determined, at Nordskogen's Twelfth Night on January 13,
2007, at their Excellencies pleasure, this grand bardic tournament will
be held!

Entrants must perform one piece of performance art (song, dance, poetry,
storytelling, etc.). The piece must be either a period piece or be a
period styled piece. Documentation is NOT required, but a little
information about what you're doing is good. (We are restricting this to
single person entries.)

That's it. Those are the rules. People keep asking me, "what's the
theme?" Well, THAT'S IT. There is no theme other than "period or period
styled piece." If you want to play, please let me know before Twelfth
Night, so we have an idea of the time this will take, however, we WILL
accept last minute entrants. If you're sitting there in the audience and
are inspired to give the St. Crispin's Day speech, you're invited. :)
(Seriously, if someone did this, without notes, I would be seriously
impressed...and have to call you a big geek.)

Of those people competing, Their Excellencies and I (plus whoever else
They invite to assist them) will choose one person to be the next Bard
of Nordskogen.

Seriously folks, this is meant to be a fun time, and I would love it if
you would join us, either as a participant or just to watch.

Please feel free to cross post this to the world. Anyone who is coming
to 12th Night is invited to play.

Thank you,
Gabriel
Bard of Nordskogen

(PS: Could someone post this to Northshield Hall.)
(PS again: If you want to repost this elsewhere, feel free.)
