[Nordskogen] September meeting locations

Greetings unto the Barony and Cantons.
   
  The month of September will see us continuing the enjoy the fresh air of local parks, and then returning to the Wilson Middle School at the end of the month to do our community demo on September 27th.
   
  The first two weeks of September (September 6 and 13) we will be meeting at the Veteran's Park in Richfield. http://www.richfieldrecreation.com/Facilities/rentals.htm

  We will meet at our normal time of 6:30 to 9 (or when it is too dark to see).  We will not be renting the structure but simply showing up and using available space as we have done at the other parks.  The park is east of Portland and just south of Hwy 62 and should be easily accessible by bus.  Upon arrival simply look for the Nordskogen Banner.  
   
  The business meeting for September will be at the Wilson Middle School, September 20th.  This will be our first meeting back at the traditional winter meeting site.  As I stated in the beginning of my post the Community Ed calendar has our "class/ demo" scheduled for September 27th.  I believe they chose this date because it corresponds to the first week of Fall session classes.
   
  I have spoken to the community ed office about changing the description of our organization in their catalog.  Myself and others are writing a new description and it will be to them by the end of the week, to be printed in the Winter Catalog.  
   
  I have also spoken to the community ed office about the gym situation and they have promised to meet with the Principal of Wilson to see if we can be allowed back into this area. I cannot guarantee anything, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  If we can get the gym back it may make finding a new winter meeting site moot.
